By Willis Mahannah Managing Editor  / It’s not that farm groups in Cuming County feel slighted as they go about their daily chore of feeding the world.
In fact, they feel good about efforts being made to promote agriculture in the county.
Tuesday, a group representing the Cuming County Feeders Association asked the county board of supervisors to take those efforts a step further by seeking a Livestock Friendly designation for the county.
If it follows through with the request, it would be only one of three counties in Eastern Nebraska to have done so. The other two are Wayne County and Jefferson County.
